About me: Okay; let's see... I'm just a plain old guy... almost. For work; I enjoy debugging computers, writing hardware diagnostics, and doing hardware testing/QA.
In the early 1980's I was one of the top pinball players in the country and won the US Open pinball championship at the Hartford Civic Center.
Hobbies and Interests: For recreation I enjoy swimming, playing pool, playing and fixing pinball machines, hanging with my friends as well as meeting new ones, and also going to the occaisional rock concert. For music I like a lot of stuff; from the Association, Neil Diamond, The Who, Boston, Bruce Hornsby,Phil Collins, Roger Waters, Floyd, right up to Smash Mouth and lots in between. Right now I'm also interested in the stock market as well.
Friends: Hmm... I'm one of the luckiest folks alive; when it comes to my close friends; I've got a lot of them and they are all like family; and I can trust my money and or my life with them without giving it a thought.

Donate your computer's idle time to Medical Research: I've run the agent now for several years; with no problems on a Windows XP machine. It seems to work as advertised and I can see no signs of it slowing me down. Interested? See: www.worldcommunitygrid.org for more info. The basics are that the Grid Agent parcels off chunks of computational work to computers around the globe where possible to compute things such as gene / DNA sequencing etc... It runs when you are idle. As of this writing they were working on MD, Cancer, and Genome stuff.
